I’ve been doing pretty well lately, but busy. These days, that’s a great thing. I’ve got 3 different things going on work-wise lately. I’m doing freelance in the midst of working with two different companies. Things are going well thus far. More later.

Recently I’ve been working on many corporate websites and I’ve been thinking I need to rework my own. The current design was an experimental thing that I never finished. It was mainly to build up my CMS understanding. Now that I have that more under control, it’s time to do a better “design” and code structure as the current one needs some help in various areas. More later.

I’ve completed my logo and web portfolios, however I do have more to add later when time permits. I’ve really got to start putting together my print design portfolio, which I’ll be working on this week. I hope to be done soon, but I’ve got a lot to sort through to know what I want to actually include. I’ve done hundreds of print design projects, so it’s going to be interesting.

I’ve been working on the template to start adding in my work and hope to be off in that direction soon as I clear things off my desk. The better news is that I’ve found the solution for displaying and updating my portfolio. I’ve found that solution in SlideShare. I’m very pleased at what I see in that service. The embed feature is the exact thing I needed and I love the fact that you can resize the view to fill up the computer screen. A very nice touch for the purpose of my portfolio and displaying my work. Can’t wait to get it underway. More later.

My next planned phase for my site is the portfolio section. I’ve got an enormous portfolio of work to showcase and so I’m not exactly sure the best way to go yet. The first step is collecting all the files from archives. Oi. It’s not gonna be pretty. Uber time gonna be spent there. Ick, but it’s gotta be done and I’m so ready to get this started.

Of course, there are still a few adjustments here and there that need to be made to the core of the site along the way. I’ll address those little by little as time permits.
